One of the most popular vintage tractor shows in the UK will be backed by a long-established showcase name of the agricultural industry next month.
The Newark Vintage and Heritage Show will be marking its 20th anniversary when it is held over the weekend of November 4 and 5 at the Newark Showground on Lincoln Road.
Goodyear Farm Tires has been confirmed as one of the official sponsors of the show which is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors, enthusiasts and hobbyists from across the UK and Europe.
Natalie Dukes, marketing manager of Goodyear Farm Tires, said: “We are very strong supporters of the vintage tractor industry and the event in Newark is one of the biggest of its kind so we are delighted to be supporting the weekend, particularly on its special anniversary.
“Goodyear Farm Tires has more than 120 years of heritage and expertise and that longevity has ensured we are well represented within the vintage market, as well as offering modern day innovation.
“There will be many tractors at the event which will be sporting the famous diamond pattern which has always been synonymous with Goodyear Farm Tires so it’s a weekend we are extremely excited to be a part of.”
Goodyear Farm Tires will be exhibited at the event courtesy of its exclusive vintage distributor in the UK, the British Rubber Company.
Its stand will showcase Goodyear’s main vintage tyre range which includes Super Rib, Sure Grip All Service and Traction Sure Grip.
The show will feature around 900 exhibitors and it’s expected more than 1,000 vintage tractors, commercial vehicles and other machinery will be on display.
The event is organised by the Newark and Nottinghamshire Agricultural Society and supported by the Nottinghamshire branch of the National Vintage Tractor and Engine Club.
Elizabeth Halsall, events and development manager for the society, said: “The show is always an exciting weekend on the calendar and this year will have an extra meaning as we celebrate the 20th anniversary.
“Goodyear Farm Tires has been a major part of the agricultural market for more than a century and its vintage range is a true favourite with many enthusiasts so we are delighted to have such a prestigious brand associated with the show.”
